Canal + Cyfrowy, the operator of the Polish DTH platform Cyfra+, has appointed Daniel Reszka as an advisor to its content and programming strategy board.
In his new role he will report to Beata Monka, the company’s president, and be responsible for strengthening and optimising its Canal + and proprietary channel programming offer.
Reszka has worked in the media industry for 14 years and was most recently VP of programming of entertainment channels for Northern Europe at Viacom International Media Networks Northern Europe.
He was also a member of the board at Comedy Central Northern Europe. Prior to this he held positions at TVP, The Washington Times and Polsat.
