HBO Europe has appointed Hanka Kastelicová to the newly created position of executive producer, documentaries.
Based in Budapest and working closely with HBO Europe’s production centres in Warsaw, Prague and Bucharest, she will oversee all aspects of the company’s documentary output.
Kastelicová started off her TV career in Slovenia, where she was part of the senior management team producing documentaries for TV Slovenia and most recently head of documentary development and commissioning editor.
Kastelicová was also the Slovenian national coordinator for INPUT, the international organisation for TV professionals, and a member of the editorial board for documentaries at the Slovenian Film Fund.
