Spanish public broadcaster RTVE is starting as an international distribution agency for Spanish and Latin-American channels.
The first channel that RTVE will represent isIberalia TV, a hunting and fishing TV channel available for international retransmission
Canales Terra-Media and Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) have just signed an agreement for the worldwide distribution of the channel Iberalia TV.
Iberalia Tv is a hunting and fishing pay-TV channel in Spain. With more than 136.000 subscribers, this service has a programme schedule full of hunting and fishing documentaries covering many different locations all over the world.
RTVE has been distributing its own channels worldwide for more than 20 years and they have succeeded in establishing TVE Internacional as the Spanish channel leader in 200 countries around the world, carrying it to almost 100 million homes.
The first market to be approached by RTVE will be Europe, where the Iberalia TV signal is already available through the Hispasat satellite.
