Digital Broadcasting has begun to implement the first changes to the Czech Republic’s fourth DTT multiplex, which it acquired from Telefónica O2 in January this year.
According to local reports, these have seen the public broadcaster’s CT1 HD channel replaced with its sports channel CT 4 HD.
TV Pohoda, which is owned by Top Media, is meanwhile set to make its debut on the fourth multiplex next Monday (June 25).
Top Media is backed by Radim Parizek, with Vladimir Zelezny, the joint founder and former director of TV Nova, holding a 33% stake in the company.
Parizek is also behind Digital Broadcasting.
