ANGA CABLE 2012 – Cologne. The percentage of international visitors to the ANGA Cable show and Conference rose from 43% to 50% this year. There were 16,000 visitors to the fair, while the congress programme attracted 1,600 delegates.
“This year’s top themes, smart TV, hybrid networks, video on demand and connected home have boosted the quality and internationality of the visitors,”said Thomas Braun, president of the host association of German Cable Operators (ANGA).
“Especially the rapidly rising share of international visitors has far exceeded our expectations. At the same time, the ANGA Cable for the past three days provided an important impetus for new technologies and business opportunities. As we promised: ANGA Cable is and remains Europe’s leading business platform for broadband network operators and content providers of all categories,.”
Herbert Strobel, chairman of the association satellite and cable in the ZVEI (Central Association Association of Electrical and Electronics Industry) was also extremely pleased with the show: “We are thrilled by the international attendance and the willingness to invest, which the ANGA Cable facilitates . ANGA Cable is for our manufacturers and suppliers the highlight of the year – also in international competition. ”
Next year, ANGA Cable 2013 will take place on June 4-6, 2013, again in Cologne.
