Germany’s largest cable operator Kabel Deutschland (KD) ended March with 1,679,500 subscribers to its premium TV services, or 8.5% more than three months earlier and 32.8% than in the same period last year.
Of these, pay-TV accounted for 1,139,300 of the total (+5.3% q-o-q) and DVR the remaining 540,200 (+15% q-o-q).
Its internet and telephony subscriber totals stood at 1,518,300 (+5% q-o-q) and 1,549,000 (+4.7%) respectively, and total RGU figure at 13,448,700 (+1.2% q-o-q).
The total number of connected homes was 8,542,000 (-1.2% q-o-q) and total blended ARPU in the fiscal year €14.44.
KD’s revenues in the fiscal year rose by 6.3% to €1,699.7 million and adjusted EBITDA by 9.1% to €795.5 million.
