France Telecom’s Orange is taking full control of the online video portal Dailymotion by acquiring the 51% it didn’t own, reports Les Echos.
Last year, Orange already acquired 49% of the venture for a reported €62 million. Although no figure was mentioned, the deal is believed to be worth around €72 million at the most.
Orange hopes to receive benefits when taking full control. The company is already selling advertising space on its properties in France, Spain, Poland and the UK.
