The Romanian telco RCS&RDS, which operates TV services under the brand name Digi in six CEE markets, has undergone a change in its ownership structure.
However, it still remains under the control of the local entrepreneur Zoltan Teszari.
Quoting a statement provided by RCS&RDS to the country’s National Audiovisual Council (CNA), ZF reports that Teszari has reduced his direct stake in the telco from 2.02% to 1.76%, while the names of two other shareholders – Ghiman Ovid and Valentin Popoviciu – no longer appear on the list.
The main shareholder in RCS&RDS is the Dutch-registered company Cable Communications Systems NV (88.54%), with RCS&RDS SA the second largest (7.83%).
Aside from Teszari, there are also 14 unnamed individuals and two unnamed companies that hold direct stakes in RCS&RDS.
Teszari indirectly controls Cable Communications Systems NV through a company named RCS Management SA.
