The Czech public broadcaster Ceske Televize (CT) may add two more channels to its current four within the next two years.
Speaking at the Digimedia conference and quoted in the local press, CT’s CEO Petr Dvorak said one of these channels would be a regional service.
The second channel, the plans for which are already known, will be called CT3, target children and make its debut in 2013.
Dvorak added that were it not for budgetary constraints, he would also like to see CT launch an art and a documentary channel.
CT currently has two main channels (CT1 and CT2), along with channels offering news (CT 24) and sport (CT 4).
