Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has entered into an agreement with National Cable Networks (NCN), Russia’s largest cable operator.
Under it, the VIMN channel Paramount Comedy has secured distribution, with immediate effect, to four million households in Moscow, St Petersburg and other parts of the country through the IPTV platform Onlime, as well as Tvoe TV, extended social TV packages and the TKT analogue platform via NCN’s networks.
Separately, in a brand new deal with Warner Bros International Television Distribution, Paramount Comedy has acquired a package of more than 300 hours of comedy programming specifically tailored at the Russian market and targeting the 18-39 demographic.
