UPC Polska has added six more channels to its offer, four of which are in HD.
As of the beginning of this month, its subscribers are also able to receive Canal+ Weekend HD, Canal+ Gold HD and the previously announced TVP1 HD, TVP2 HD, Orange Sport and AXN Spin.
TVP1 HD and TVP2 HD are both new services, having been launched by the Polish public broadcaster TVP at the beginning of this month and ahead of Euro 2012 and the London Olympic Games, which they will both cover.
Separately, the leading Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat has added the Kino Polska TV channels FilmBox Extra, FilmBox Family and FightBox to its offer.
Cyfrowy Polsat is the first platform in Poland to carry FightBox, which will replace Polsat Futbol, while Kino Polska, Kino Polska TV’s flagship channel, will be moved to the Familijny and Familijny HD packages.
FightBox will be offered in the Sport HD package and FilmBox Extra and FilmBox Family in the FilmBox package in Extra HD and Relax Mix.
