The Polish public broadcaster TVP has launched an HbbTV application on its flagship channel TVP1, distributed by the country’s third DTT multiplex MUX 3.
Speaking to HbbTV.pl about the development, Pawel Tutka, VP of 4vod, said: “the production of an application for VOD content in the HbbTV standard is a historic moment in the development of hybrid television in Poland.”
4vod is at the forefront of moves to introduce HbbTV into Poland, working with both TVP and TVN.
Pawel Tutka will be one of the panellists at the Connected TV in Poland briefing being hosted tomorrow in Warsaw by Broadband TV News and Level 3.
