Increased TV and broadband subscriptions have helped Com Hem boost first quarter revenues by 2%.
The Swedish cablenet closed March with SEK 1,136 million (€126.44m) in revenue, operating profit rising 6% on the year to SEK 532 million.
The total number of customers grew by 14,000.
“We have increased the number of customers compared to last year, both in television and broadband and have a stable customer base for telephony. We are maintaining our market share in all areas at a very competitive market”, said Tomas Franzén, President of Com Hem.
Com Hem continued to maintain a high rate of investment during the first quarter. Total investment amounted to 198 million.
The quarter also saw the opening of Com Hem’s new customer service centre in Örnsköldsvik. It will complement Com Hem’s existing customer service in Härnösand.
Com Hem has done much to improve its customer service after a troubled few years.
