The Czech Republic’s three leading broadcasters CT, TV Nova and Prima TV have expressed concerns about upcoming auction for LTE licences.
According to Digizone, they are of the view that LTE transmissions could interfere with the existing four DTT multiplexes to such an extent that some viewers could even lose their signal.
The auction will be held by the Czech Telecom Office (CTU) and could earn the state at least CZK6.5 billion (€255 million).
