Spain’s Ono has begun to offer significant discounts to subscribers who successfully recommend TiVo to others.
According to the cable operator, its new recruitment programme, known as ‘I love TiVo”, will provide €40 to any subscriber who manages to secure a new TiVo client for Ono.
Furthermore, if the new client is not already receiving Ono services the subscriber will be given an additional €10 off the ‘Family and Friends’ package.
Ono launched TiVo late last year and as of the end of the first quarter it was already available to over 60% of its fibre-optic households and had 16,000 subscribers.
