Telekom Austria’s A1TV service counted almost 205,000 customers at the end of Q1, an increase of 23.9%. Operator said A1 TV subscribers could partially compensate for the declines of fixed voice minutes as well as fixed voice-only lines.
Belgian cable operator Telenet is in the process of switching off analogue channels. Channels removed include ITV1, BBC, Eurosport, CNN, RTP and German public broadcasters Das Erste and ZDF, depending on the region.
The German ProSiebenSat.1 Group has said it extended the rights to a large number of CBS Studios International series including Navy CIS, NCIS: L.A. and Hawaii-5-0.
