A The Hague court has ordered Dutch ISPs UPC, KPN, Tele2 and T-Mobile to block access to The Pirate Bay. The four operators are considering appealing the decision.
The verdict follows a similar ruling affecting ISPs Ziggo and XS4All, who were earlier ordered to block access to the site.
The case was brought to court by Brein, an organisation to protect copyrights on behalf of right holders. Following the ruling for Ziggo and XS4All, Brein wrote to other ISPs to block TPB, but all refused.
Following this negative response, Brein took the four ISPs to court.
