Christian Wegner, director new media and diversification at ProSiebenSat.1, said in a statement “Maxdome is already on the TV portals that offer our online video library, the most widely used application, we strongly believe that with our attractive offer will meet the taste of the customers of Sony Germany.”

Uwe Bassendowski, managing director at Sony Computer Entertainment Germany, added: “Maxdome and Sony Germany redefine with this cooperation the future of entertainment. The focus is to bring the video-on-demand offering to our home theatre products and turn the most popular in Germany game console platform into a true entertainment hub in the living room. “
