SeaChange CEO Raghu Rau is to continue with the company’s aggressive strategy to focus the Company on its core software business.
Rau has just been appointed as permenant CEO of the company, a position he has held since November 2011, following the retirement of SeaChange founder, chairman and CEO Bill Styslinger. His appointment comes following a search for both external and internal candidates.
“Raghu’s leadership and excellent grasp of our business was apparent from the moment he assumed responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the company. In a matter of just a few months, he has dramatically improved SeaChange’s overall operations and its ability to serve global markets, to the immediate benefit of our customers as well as our shareholders and employees,” said Thomas Olson, Chairman of the Board, SeaChange.
Rau joined the SeaChange Board of Directors in July 2010. He has previously held a number of senior leadership positions at Motorola.
