Belgacom expands TV Everywhere

Belgacom TV is expanding its TV Everywhere service with theree more channels by adding two channels from SBS Belgium (VT4, VIJFtv) and the new Ketnet from public broadcaster VRT.

The total TV Everywhere (called TV Overal by Belgacom) service now boosts 24 channels, including three VRT public channels (één, Canvas, Ketnet), VT4, VIJFtv, Acht, Eurosport NL and F, Belgacom 5 (basketball/NL and F), Nickelodeon Junior (NL and F), RTL-TVI, Club RTL, Plug RTL, AB3, AB4, Trace, LCI, MCM POP, Tiji en Canal J, Belgacom Zoom (NL and F).

Apart from the streaming live channels, viewers can also watch on-demand movies and sports events. The app also includes an EPG with remote PVR functionality.

The service is available on tablets, PCs, laptop and smartphones, on Wi-Fi at the customer’s home, but across Belgium on Wi-Fi Hotspots and via the Belgacom’s Proximus 3G network. For the time being, the service is free of charge. About 250,000 Belgacom TV customers have downloaded the app.
