Liberty Global’s German cable op Unitymedia said it has reached agreement with the RTL group to carry the HD versions of RTL HD, VOX HD, RTL II HD and Super RTL HD on its network. Earlier, the cabler said it is adding ProSieben Fun HD and Turner’s Glitz*HD.
Netflix is being added to the Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) from today. SEN can be accessed through selected Internet-connected Sony Bravia televisions, Sony Blu-ray players, Network Media player and PS3 devices sold in the UK and Ireland.
Al Jazeera‘s new French sports channels beIN Sport 1 and beIN Sport 2 will be distributed on the Bbbox from Bouygues Telecom, the operator announced. We can expect a lot more of these distribution agreements before the June 1 launch of the two new channels.
