Lithuania’s TEO LT ended the first quarter with a total of 154,200 subscribers to its TV services, or 11.4% more than a year earlier.
Its broadband subscriber total rose by 6% over the same period to 373,900, while TEO fibre-optic (FTTH) services were available for use to 741,000, or 59% of the country’s residents.
Revenues in the first quarter stood at LTL190.5 million (€55.2 million), up 2.5% on the same period last year, while the EBITDA margin was 39.1% (39.8%) and net profit LTL37.1 million (LTL37.7 million).
TEO LT’s TV revenues in the first quarter accounted to 7.2% of the total and the company also allocated LTL23 million for investments, or 57% more than a year earlier, with the majority (LTL15.1 million) going to expansion of its core network and development of the next generation fibre-optic network.
Data published by Lithuania’s Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) meanwhile shows that TEO LT’s market share in terms of revenue from digital TV services in 2011 amounted to 45.6% of the total.
TEO LT provides its services under the Gala brand.
