Sky Italia will show up to 13 streams from the London 2012 Olympics.
The DTH platform is offering subscribers 12 HD streams and a 3D channel as part of 2,000 hours of live coverage from the Olympiad.
Subscribers will be able to select their chosen event from 12 mini screens that will be accessed through the EPG, enabling them to create their own Olympic schedule.
‘Olympic alerts’ will allow the viewer to be informed either when a medal is awarded (“Medal alert”) or anytime a competition featuring the well-known Olympic champions (“Champion alert”) starts.
