Marta Szwakopf has been appointed the head of proprietary children’s channels at Canal+ Cyfrowy, the operator of the Polish DTH platform Cyfra+.
In her new role, which Szwakopf will take up in May, she will be responsible for MiniMini+ and teleTOON/Hyper.
Szwakopf was formerly the head of Nickelodeon Polska, where she oversaw the launch of Nickelodeon HD and also the launches of Nickelodeon in Turkey and Croatia.
Prior to that, she worked in the sales and programming department at TV4 and in programming acquisitions at TVP. Szwakopf replaces Jolanta Adamowicz, who has now left Canal+ Cyfrowy.
