MIPTV 2012 – CANNES. French adult entertainment broadcaster Marc Dorcel is now developing its smart TV app with the main TV manufacturers in The Netherlands, Korea and Japan.
Since September 2011, the Dorcel app, which is the 1st adult application for Smart TV, is available on all Panasonic connected TV sets. Now Philips, Samsung and Sony sets are to follow.
Especially developed and designed for TV manufacturers, the app offers viewers, via their TV screen, a simple and fast access to Marc Dorcel’s contents and services, such as films, news, native 3D videos.
Marc Dorcel is also about to launch a new channel, Dorcel XXX, which will offer non-stop adult films from more than 50 international studios. Dorcel XXX will be distributed via Eutelsat at 16 degrees East.
Dorcel also said that its 3D VOD service, originally launched on Free in France, is now available through TV operators in more than 10 countries around the world, including Canada, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal and Korea.
