The delivery of DTT set-top boxes is starting to gather momentum in Ukraine.
Quoting the platform operator Zeonbud, Mediasat and ProIT report that the second batch of 200,000 will be delivered in April.
This is the same number as the first, delivered this month and with 10,000 going to Ukrainian regions.
The boxes are being supplied by Strong and Romsat, who between them have the capacity to test and activate around 10,000 daily, with other suppliers entering the market in the next two to three months.
Zeonbud, which is licensed to operate a total of four multiplexes, will shortly concluded a tender for the supply of 700,000 zapper boxes, for which around UAH300 million (€27.2 million) has been allocated.
