WATCH VIDEO. Entertainment studio and distributor My Damn Channel is launching My Damn Channel Live, the first daily, live, comedy show from YouTube’s original channels initiative.
Airing weekdays at 22.00 CET beginning Wednesday, March 28, viewers can watch and interact with every episode of the series as it happens, or catch up on past episodes on demand.
Actor/Writer/Comedian Beth Hoyt has been tapped as host/writer of My Damn Channel Live. Beth will interview celebrity guests, interact with viewers in real-time and premiere videos from over 30 new My Damn Channel original comedy series.
The show is live Monday through Friday from a new studio inside the company’s Hell’s Kitchen headquarters in New York.
“The time is right to steal pages from TV’s playbook to re-imagine a daily, live, hosted comedy show for the internet,” said Rob Barnett, founder and CEO of My Damn Channel. “Beth Hoyt is an awesome find and a future star. Our producer, Melissa Schneider, has built an impressive team and a hot new home to showcase the original content and comedy talent we love.”
Since launching in 2007, My Damn Channel has produced thousands of original videos by major stars and emerging artists and has created some of the most successful new comedy series online.
