The IP&TV World Forum, now in its eight year, will be renamed TV Connect, the organisers announced at the opening of this year’s event.

Russia’s state owned news channel RT (Russia Today) launches a new smart TV app through LG’s global application store. “We are happy that viewers of LG’s smart TVs can watch all of RT’s channels and no longer have to depend on cable networks or satellite signals,” said RT’s editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan.
