Euronews is now available on Google TV in the US offering five languages, in the English, Spanish, French, German and Italian services.
The Eurones app can be found in the Spotlight folder under the Featured and News categories on Google TV.
US viewers can now access Europe’s news network on demand simply by using their internet connection. The Euronews app is free-of-charge and offerst news bulletins, and lifestyle programmes of Euronews, as well as the channel’s emblematic programme, no comment.
Walid Chamak, marketing manager at Euronews said in a statement: “We’re very excited to bring Euronews to Google TV, offering yet another way for US consumers to access our content. Euronews has always performed very well in this country, where there is a strong demand for an independent and alternative perspective on world events; and Euronews is definitely best positioned to fulfill this need.”
