The German music channels from Deluxe Music are about to close down, according to local reports.
Kabel Deutschland was the first cable operator to end distribution of the channel earlier this week. A move followed by Unitymedia, while Kabel BW shows a text message on the channel telling viewers a close down is imminent.
Last January, Deluxe’s Music owners, Deluxe Television, have requested insolvency.
Deluxe Music was launched in April 2005 and specialised in ‘music televsion for grown-ups’. Apart from the FTA channel Deluxe Music, the broadcaster also runs an HD lounge music channel, as well as three premium channels for Deutsche Telekom’s Entertain IPTV service.
