Viasat Broadcasting has announced that it has added the 24-hour news and lifestyle channel NHK World TV to the satellite TV platforms in the Nordic and Baltic regions on March 14. This is the first time the channel is available in these regions.
NHK World TV, an English-language television service for viewers all over the world, provides the very latest information from Japan, Asia and the rest of the world, as well as a wide variety of programming, 24 hours a day.
Making full use of NHK’s extensive global network, Newsline updates viewers every hour with the latest hard news, covering world events and business-related news.
Other popular programmes include J-Melo, which highlights Japan’s contemporary music scene and top artists, showcasing popular hits, as well as Tokyo Eye, which explores fascinating aspects of life in Tokyo, from the perspective of visitors and residents of this diverse metropolis.
The channel is available to Viasat satellite TV subscribers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, as well as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
