DVB-T2 trials could start again in the Czech Republic this April.
However, reports Digizone, they would be more widespread than those undertaken last year and could last up to 18 months.
Although it was originally planned to undertake national tests, they would now probably take place in HD in the cities of Prague, Brno, Ostrava and Plzen, following on from limited trials by the Czech Metrology Institute in 2011 in Prague, the Highlands and southern Bohemia.
The new tests would be undertaken by the transmission company Ceske Radiokomunikace (CRa) once approved by the Czech Telecom Office (CTU).
