The Hungarian pay-DTT operation MinDig TV Extra now has almost 60,000 subscribers, having added 34,000 last year.
Its FTA sister service MinDig TV is meanwhile now received in over 300,000 homes.
The coverage of both services is being extended tomorrow (Friday, March 8) by the addition of two further transmission stations, effectively doubling the power of their signal in the capital, Budapest.
MinDig TV and MinDig TV Extra are operated by the national transmission company Antenna Hungária and both will see important changes this year.
The former will start to offer sports programming in HD for free, while the latter will aim to improve its coverage in urban areas.
