The Spanish cable operator Ono has extended its TiVo service to Valencia.
It is now also offering internet access at download and upload speeds of 100 Mbps and 10 Mbps respectively in the city, reaching over 1.5 million homes and SMEs.
Commenting on the development, Guillermo Mercarder, CEO of Ono’s residential services, said that the company had already invested over €9 billion in its fibre-optic network, which now provides internet access at speeds of 30, 50 and 100 Mbps to over 7 million homes throughout the country.
Ono soft-launched TiVo in Madrid and Barcelona last October and the service has since attracted considerable interest.
