Deutsche Telekom’s Entertain IPTV service will start carrying ProSieben, Sat.1, Kabel eins and sixx in HD from March 1.
The ProSiebenSat.1 Group and the German telecom operator have signed a long-term distribution agreement for the distribution of the broadcaster’s SD and HD channels.
The deal also includes distribution of selected TV content of ProSieben, Sat.1 and Kabel eins on the mobile TV service from DT.
Albert Conrad, chief legal, distribution and regulatory affairs, ProSiebenSat.1, said in a statement: “The ongoing digitalisation of distribution channels and content shapes the development of the entertainment and media landscape, creating sustainable potential for innovation, both for us and for our viewers. Therefore we are very pleased with the expansion of this strategic partnership.”
