NDS has announced it has been selected by the French operator Bouyges Telecom to support the deployment of its next generation IPTV set-top.
In addition to STB integration services for the new Bbox, NDS will also provide so-called professional services, including integration consultancy and critical software components.
These include a graphical engine to power an enhanced user experience with HD and 3D capability and an application manager engine to enable the development and management of a series of new apps based on HTML5 and Flash.

NDS is already well established in France through long standing relationships with Canal+ and SFR.
