Scripps Networks Interactive, the new owners of UKTV, reported a 10% rise in revenues during the 4th quarter.
The majority of its US networks that include Food Network and HGTV recorded increases in revenue.
Full year profits came in at $473 million and the company is expecting an increase in revenue of between 8% and 10% during 2012.
Foreign currency contracts, taken out ahead of the August purchase of 50% in UKTV from Virgin Media, resulted in a loss of $25.3 million. A further $6.5 million in acquisition costs was also recognised.
UKTV’s brands include Watch, Dave and Alibi.
