BT Vision maintained its relative momentum in the final quarter of 2011 with another 39,000 homes added.
It followed the addition of 41,000 homes in Q3 and should take the installed base to 678,000.
The numbers added are on a par with those of BSkyB, which this week announced the addition of 40,000 new TV subscribers in the last three months of 2011.
The momentum helped BT Vision improve its consumer ARPU by 5% to £337, the combination of improvements in both the IPTV service and broadband take-up in general.
