The Lithuanian incumbent telco TEO LT ended 2011 with 150,000 subscribers to its Gala-branded IPTV and DTT offers, or 15.2% more than a year earlier.
At the same time, its fibre-optic (FTTH) internet access services were used by almost 140,000 people (+35.1%), while the number of telephone lines it supplied stood at 648,000.
TEO LT’s revenues in 2011 amounted to LTL750 million (€217.1 million), compared to LTL773 million a year earlier, while its net profit was LTL154 million (LTL163 million) and EBITDA LTL302 million (LTL310 million).
The telco invested LTL156 million in 2011, with the majority (LTL138 million) being allocated to the development of a next generation fibre-optic access network.
Data published by the regulator CRA for Q3 2011 meanwhile shows that TEO LT had 43.9% and 39.6% shares of the digital TV and internet access markets in Lithuania.
