The Ukrainian company Media Group Ukraine has announced that it will launch a HD version of its channel Futbol especially for Euro 2012, which will be jointly hosted by Ukraine and Poland this summer.
Volia, the leading cable operator in Ukraine, has meanwhile obtained exclusive cable rights for the HD version of the channel.
Following the end of Euro 2012, Futbol will carry all the major European football championships, which are now broadcast on the channel Futbol+.
Media Group Ukraine was formed in 2010 and is owned by System Capital Management.
