Esther van Rijswijk presents US election coverage on RTL-Z
RTL Nederland is launching a dedicated iPad app called RTL365 for its RTL Nieuws.
The new app offers live streaming of RTL-Z, access to the continuous weather forecast of Buienradar.nl and news items from RTL Nieuws and RTL Boulevard, the entertainment news programme of RTL4.
RTL365 will offer on-demand items broadcast in the various news programmes of the Dutch RTL channels as well as specially made items and columns.
The regular RTL Nieuws team will work for the app, but two people – a picture editor and an advertising sales person – will work exclusively for RTL365.
RTL365 will launch this Thursday (January 19) after months of preparation.
