The Slovak IPTV solution provider Antik Technology and BitTorrent have announced the first BitTorrent certified set-top box in Antik’s product line Juice.
The box, which employs the BitTorrent protocol, will allow users to find, play and move any type of media file from online onto their TVs.
Antik is one of four manufacturers announced earlier this week by BitTorrent. The others are the Russian BBK Electronics, Turkish AirTies and Dune HD from Duisburg, Germany.
Antik Technology is based in Kosice and produces a range of devices including professional encoders/transcoders, IPTV Server SW and IPTV headends and set-top boxes.
