Vectra has strengthened its position as the second largest cable operator in Poland, ending 2011 with a total of 803,797 subscribers.
Its digital TV subscribers numbered 385,960, compared to 343,000 in Q2 2011, while the analogue TV subscriber figure fell from 404,384 over the same period.
Fixed-line and mobile internet subscribers numbered 331,629 and 20,484 respectively, compared to 301,500 and 9,404 six months earlier, while the fixed line telephony figure stood at 113,770.
A total of 600,000 homes also received local TV services via Vectra.
According to Vectra, it grew its customer base through meeting sales targets and activating smaller networks.
Poland’s three largest cable operators are the market leader UPC Polska, followed by Vectra and Multimedia Polska.
