Nagra has launched a new OTT solution for Jazztel, Spain’s fastest growing ISP.
In what is described as a first for the Spanish market, Jazztel subscribers will now have access to the best content in the market including Canal+ premium on-demand (VOD) and HD content, as well as live services currently available on the Prisa TV platform, with the new services will be provided under the Jazzbox name.
For an additional €10.95 a month, Jazztel and Prisa TV customers are able to access the Canal+ Yomvi services via the Jazzbox, including Canal+1 live TV channel and a subscription VOD.
They are also able to receive a pay-per-view transactional VOD service.
The Jazzbox, which is an IP set-top box, comes pre-integrated with Nagra’s DRM solution and Nagra Media Persistent Rights Management (PRM) and is powered by Nagra’s Open TV middleware.
