Around two in five Poles watch DTH services, while the average they pay each month for subscription TV amounts to PLN40 (€7.34).
According to data produced by PBS DGA and CBM Indicator and published by Wirtualne Media, 37.7% of Poles aged 15+ watch satellite services such as Cyfrowy Polsat, Cyfra+ and n, compared to 30% cable and 28.9% analogue TV services.
DTT viewership, however, is still in its infancy, at only 4.8%. The most popular bundled services are TV and fixed line (33.1%), followed by fixed line internet and fixed line telephony (23.9%) and triple play, including fixed line internet and fixed line telephony (14.4%).
The incumbent telco TPSA (26.2%) and UPC (18.6%) are the leading providers of subscription services and users, on average, pay PLN115 a month for triple play.
