A dispute between Eurosport and the leading Ukrainian cable operator Volia shows no signs of coming to an end.
According to Mediasat, the sports channel has refuted allegations by Volia that it is substantially increasing its fees and that a contract between the two parties is expiring.
In the latter case, Eurosport says that the agreement is valid until 2013.
Eurosport has also filed a lawsuit against Volia that, it has informed Broadband TV News, is for its belief that the cable operator has breached its contact and unilaterally terminated distribution of Eurosport channels contrary to their agreement.
The dispute between Volia and Eurosport first came to light in December, when the operator announced that it would stop distributing Eurosport and Eurosport 2 from the beginning of this month.
