Broadcast Text International (BTI) has acquired Chello Zone’s operational studio business in Eastern Europe and secured a long-term versioning agreement with the international broadcaster.
Chello Zone Studios has operations throughout the region, including dubbing studios in Poland and Romania, and together with partner studios last year produced over 30,000 hours of subtitling, lecturing, voice-over and dubbing.
The facilities currently provide dubbing and subtitling in over 20 languages for Chello Zone’s channels and external clients.
BTI is a leading versioning company and has been owned by the Swedish private equity group Valedo since 2008.
