The take-up of DOCSIS 3.0 services continues to grow in Hungary, with the number of subscriptions amounting to 135,614 as of this October, according to data published by the regulator NMHH.
The number of cable broadband subscriptions stood at 808,661, while the xDSL and FTTx subscriptions amounted to 798,244 and 252,327 respectively.
Magyar Telekom (T-Home) remains the leading provider of fixed broadband services in Hungary, claiming a market share of 34.7%.
UPC was in second place (21.0%), followed by Digi (12.4%), Invitel (9.8%) and PR Telekom (2.7%).
