GfK has secured six new media research contracts in Central and Eastern Europe.
As a result, it will now be delivering audience measurement data for a range of media in Romania, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia.
In Ukraine, GfK has already held the official contract for electronic measurement of TV audiences since 2002, while in Belarus it has just won a public tender, organised by the Association of Advertising Agencies of Republic Belorussia (ARO), to provide the country’s first electronic TV audience research.
Meanwhile in Russia, GfK will next year be introducing a comprehensive nine-country survey on the internet consumption of Russian speakers living outside the country.
