SeaChange founder, chairman and CEO Bill Styslinger is to retire. In a statement the company said SeaChange board member Raghu Rau would step in as CEO until a permanent successor is found.
Thomas Olson, former CEO of Katz Media Group and of National Cable Media and a current SeaChange board member, has been named chairman.
In recent months SeaChange has sought to reduce costs in its hardware business amid a declining market for servers and storage.
Meanwhile it has been the subject of significant talk as to its future. In May, Broadband communications supplier Arris Group was said to be in discussions that could lead to a purchase of the multiscreen video specialist.
